UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL (UNI) — Country singer Tim McGraw collapsed from dehydration at a concert in Ireland.
On March 11, McGraw was performing at the final stop of the Country to Country music festival in Dublin.
The 50-year-old Grammy award winner had just finished performing “Humble and Kind” when he dropped to his knees as he walked off stage.
Soon after, McGraw’s wife, country singer Faith Hill came out to inform the audience that her husband was “super dehydrated” and would be unable to continue performing, “I made the decision that he cannot come back out on stage”.
A spokesman for McGraw noted he was attended to by onsite medical staff and will be fine.
Both McGraw and Hill are set to start a 29-city United States tour starting in Richmond, Virginia on May 31.
