UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL (UNI) — The White House appears to have responded to Kim Jong Un’s threat to cancel the June summit.

Pyongyang has put off high-level talks with South Korea on Wednesday May 16 due to the fact that the South is still conducting joint military drills with the U.S.

But experts say the real reason behind Kim’s sudden change in attitude comes after Trump’s security advisor John Bolton’s comment that the ”Libya model” would be used for Pyongyang.

In 2003, the U.S. required Libya to completely and irreversibly abandon its nuclear program before easing any sanctions.

It was not until 22 months later the U.S. finally eased sanctions on Libya and the leader Muammar Gaddafi was killed in a street 8 years later.

On Wednesday, the White House said the ”Libya model” is not the model it is using.

Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said it will be the ”President Trump model” this time.
