UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL (UNI) — Southeast Asia’s biggest ride-hailing firm Grab announced its partnership with New York-based company Cargo on June 4.

Cars equipped with Grab&Go will be able to offer passengers a mix of snacks, drinks, and beauty products.

Passengers will be able to order products on their phones through Grab&Go’s online menu and the cost will be added to their fares.

For drivers, this new service will help bring in additional income.

Cargo claims that drivers can earn as much as an extra $300 a month, as well as improve their satisfaction ratings.

Cargo CEO Jeff Cripe told CNNMoney, “All of us spend so much time in rideshare vehicles that it felt like there should be a way to innovate on that experience.”

About 1,000 Grab drivers in Singapore will receive Cargo’s boxes starting this week.
