UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL (UNI) — The location of the historic summit between the United States and North Korea has been decided.

U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will meet for the first time at Singapore’s Capella Hotel on Sentosa Island.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted the location Tuesday June 5.

She also thanked Singapore for being a great host.

The 5-star luxury hotel hosted U.S. officials including Joe Hagin, the deputy White House chief of staff for operations, during talks with a North Korean delegation last week.

The historic negotiation will be held at 9 a.m. local time next Tuesday.

Both Trump and Kim will stay at nearby hotels.

The island prides its privacy. By shutting down a 700m bridge, no one can go in or out freely.
