UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL (UNI) — NBA superstar LeBron James is leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers … again.

James announced his decision on Sunday, July 1.

James will now take his skills to the Los Angeles Lakers, after agreeing to a four-year $154 million deal.

The 14-time NBA All-Star led his championship-starved Cavs to a world title back in 2016 against the Golden State Warriors.

The same Warriors team that beat the Cavaliers the last two years in the finals including again this season.

The four-time MVP has appeared in 9 NBA finals — winning just three of them.

National Public Radio meanwhile, reported people in Cleveland are not as upset by James’ departure this time around.

One person said, “He delivered on what he came back here to do.”

As for the self-proclaimed “king,” he thanked the Cleveland fans and wrote the city would “always be home.”
