UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL (UNI) – Tennis star Serena Williams believes she’s being unfairly targeted for drug testing by the US Anti Doping Agency.

In an article written by Deadspin, they recount an incident that happened on June 14, when a doping control officer showed unannounced to Williams’s home in  Florida for a USADA drug test.

His 8:30AM visit, however, was 12 hours earlier than scheduled according to Williams.

She was out of the area at the time, but the officer refused to leave until Williams had been tested. There was a standoff; the officer finally left without administering the test.

According to a USADA database, Williams has been tested twice as many times as other top American players.

At a press conference at Wimbledon, Williams said she has been drug tested five times already this year by the USADA, not including the June 14 incident, when others have not been tested at all.
