United News International (UNI)- Rather than starting from the bottom as rapper Drake famously claims, his new album ‘Scorpion’ started at the top of the Billboard Top 200 its first week.

The album is his eighth consecutive album to hit No. 1, tying him with Eminem, Kanye West, and The Beatles for the longest streak of number one albums.

On top of that, the album earned 1 billion streams in just one week globally, setting an all-time record.

As if that wasn’t enough, he also holds seven of the top 10 spots on the Billboard Top 100.

He dethroned Cardi B’s “I Like It” at No. 1 with his hit single “Nice For What.”

“Scorpion” sold over 700,000 albums in the first week, with 160,000 of them in traditional album sales.

The album features the confession of his fatherhood, never-before-heard Michael Jackson vocals, and editor’s notes listing typical Drake disses.
