The popular streaming network announced Tuesday, July 10 it will launch a ‘stand-up comedy series’ that will be global.
It will feature 47 comedians from 13 regions around the world including France, Africa and the Middle East.
Programming will be in different languages as well.

Many of the half-hour comedy shows will be taped at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal while others will be filmed in Amsterdam and Mexico City among other cities.
Netflix says it hopes to help viewers “find some of the freshest voices in comedy.”
The series is currently untitled but its planned release is set for sometime in 2019.
