UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL (UNI) — A nurse in Japan didn’t want the burden of telling families when their loved ones died, so, she decided to kill them.

According to reports, thirty-one-year-old Ayumi Kuboki allegedly sped up the deaths of at least 20 patients at the hospital where she worked.

Police recently arrested Kuboki for poisoning an 88-year-old with antiseptic at Oguchi Hospital in Yokohoma.

Authorities say the nurse confessed to them that informing families their loved one had died was a burden.

She basically targeted patients who were near death and poisoned them so that when they died, another nurse had to inform the family.

After back-to-back deaths at the hospital, police began investigating.

That’s when they determined the patient had high levels of antiseptic in their intravenous drip.

The nurse reportedly confessed to two deaths and admitted to injecting antiseptic into at least 20 patients’ IVs.
