UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL (UNI) — Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has threatened to kill police officers facing criminal and administrative complaints.
The leader scolded the over 100 alleged corrupt cops in Malacañang Palace on August 7.
[Duterte]: “If you’ll stay like this, son of a b***h, I will really kill you.”
Duterte warned the officers he has a special unit to watch them for life and that they’ll be killed even for the smallest of mistakes.
The cops face complaints including kidnapping, rape and extortion.
Alleged police abuses have forced Duterte in the past to kick them out twice in the nationwide crackdown against illegal drugs.
As for cops’ families, this is what the president had to say:
[Duterte]: “If these sons of b*****s die, don’t come yelling at us ‘human rights, due process’ because I warned you already.”
