UNITED NEWS INTERNATIONAL — What contains 400 times more germs than a toilet seat?

It’s the place people spend a majority of their work time — sending emails, taking calls and sometimes even eating lunch there.

According to the University of Arizona, it might just be the place you’re watching this: your office desk.

Your keyboard, mouse, headphones, and even your cell phone is loaded with bacteria.

According to Men’s Health, males have three to four times more bacteria lurking around their workspace.

Scientists suggest it’s because men usually have larger desks, but on average, males allegedly have lower hygiene standards.

Here are a few tips to help avoid bacteria at your desk: regularly clean your space, wipe down surfaces especially the biggest culprit — the keyboard — avoid eating at your desk, and be careful where you set your phone.

So when’s the last time you cleaned your desk?
